TECTRON WORBIS GmbH was founded in 1991 on the site of the former Robotron factory in Worbis. Right from the start, the company was able to rely on excellently trained employees who had already worked for many years as skilled workers and engineers in the electrical sector and the former Robotron Group. Initially, only simple services and assembly work were carried out, but over the years the company's service portfolio has steadily developed into a complete EMS service provider with state-of-the-art equipment lines (including 10 Siplace lines) and the very latest technology.

Advancing globalisation, dynamic world markets and the constant trade-off with suppliers from "low-cost countries" are just some of the fundamental issues we have to deal with on a daily basis. This makes it all the more important to focus on our strengths and core competencies and to continuously expand them. Our entire way of working is always focused on our clients. You will always have a competent contact person at your disposal who can answer questions quickly and expertly. This way, interface problems between the customer and the skilled worker can be avoided and important information can be processed directly.

Our industry is extremely fast-moving and unpredictable. Our customers therefore need to be able to rely on a partner who can respond quickly and in a straightforward manner to given specifications, even in situations that are difficult to plan. Thanks to flat hierarchies, short information paths and capacities available at all times, important decisions can be made and implemented flexibly and without detours.

We offer our customers the highest quality at all times. In order to maintain these high standards, we have highly qualified staff as well as world-class technologies. In addition, a comprehensive traceability system for all components used ensures compliance with our high quality standards. External and internal audits conducted at regular intervals additionally monitor this process.

Climate-neutral & environmentally friendly

TECTRON WORBIS GmbH currently generates up to 75% of its electricity requirements from its own energy park. This includes an 800kW (400kW own-use) photovoltaic system, two CHP units (170kW and 50kW) and a battery buffer system. The heat produced as a by-product is used to heat seven hall systems. We are completely sustainable.

Automotive, safety technology, telecommunication technology - the past has already shown several times how important the orientation towards several industrial sectors can be for a company. Observing this basic rule, even in the crisis year of 2008 we were able to almost compensate for the declines in some sectors through innovative new business in other areas.
